ntlworld email account hacked

Hi,

 

I had an ntlworld.com email address. I am no longer a V M customer.

This account seems to have been subject to a data breach and someone is trying to create accounts with it.

The ntlword.com emails are being forwarded to a gmail account and I have been getting verification emails for a number of sites. 

As I am no longer a VM customer, if I try and get into ntkworld email account, I am getting an 'invalid email' response. Can someone help permanently delete this account and inbox?

    Hi, also having same issue. Have an ntlworld.com email. No longer a VM account holder. Someone trying to access ntlworld.com account, but I can no longert access as says email account not recognised.

    The emails to ntlworld.com account are being forwarded to a gmail. Am concerned personal info may be gained.

    Can someone at VM completely delete the ntlworld email account?

      Welcome to the Community, and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your email account.

      Has it been more than 90 days since you left Virgin Media? Are you still able to access your online account that the email is attached to?

    Hi. It’s been more than 90 days and no. Can’t access. Emails from netlword account are being forwarded to a gmail. Have tried to access the ntkworld mailbox so I can delete it, but can’t access. Just need the account deleted please.

      I can get the email account deleted from here for you.

      I just need to send you a private message to take some account details first.

      If you can check the envelope at the top right of your screen, that would be great.
