No emails through client apps since Friday.

Noticed yesterday none of my ntlworld emails were coming through via iOS Mail app, same thing on Windows Outlook, so went to the Virgin Media website and did a new password there which included doing this virginmedia O2 ID thing, linked my email address.

Note that this isn’t the primary email address for the Virgin Media broadband contract if that matters.

Then made a new email app password, but it doesn’t work, tried several new passwords, none of them work on iOS Mail or Windows Outlook, so I can’t get any emails through, I can get them through the VirginMedia website but that’s not good enough.

All I get in iOS when it try’s to connect is either it’s unavailable or:

Server code "ALERT", server message

"Temporarily blacklisted Login Name - try again later".

I see quite a few people are having the same issue from about Thursday, but others are unaffected, my parents who are both also on ntlworld addresses are working fine.

What is going on???
