Locked out of email.

 

(Also locked out of my virgin media)

When i went to access my emails this morning I got the following message

'Ooops – you can’t do that right now

We couldn’t sign you in just now. Don’t worry — it’s just a quick pause to help keep your account safe.'

I phoned the help line but after half an hour of trying various things that didn't work the guy escalated it to tech support.

This evening I tried to login, I got into my virgin media once then I was locked out again.

During the conversation with the help guy he advised to clear my cache which I did. This has logged me out of all my accounts everywhere and of course verification codes to relog in are sent to my virgin email so basically I'm fked.

Can anyone help please?

  • I can't delete this thread but just wanted to say that after talking to tech guy it was an issue with chrome (which I only use). I used microsoft edge and was able to log in.

    OK I downloaded virgin app. Used my 3rd party email address as user name and requested password reset. The password reset came to 3rd party email so I changed password tried to login and it's telling me email or password is wrong.

    30 years I've been with this company and I'd rather get genital cancer than try dealing with it when anything goes wrong.

    Still getting the oops message this morning.

    This is using a third party email address as my username that was setup during the convo with virgin yesterday btw.
