Just spent 6 hours trying to gain access to a sub account

It didn't result in any success. This is the basic problem. What used to happen was your sub email accounts were all accessible from your main account in my virgin media (your main admin account).

So if your main account was mailto:joe.bloggs@ntlworld.com and you had a sub account like  mailto:jane.bloggs@ntlworld.com - you could change the password to it by logging into joe.bloggs.

NOW (I think) you have to log in separately into jane.bloggs, to try and generate a new password - BUT if you don't have the password how do you do that? NB I am talking about generating a new email password that would eg enable you to log into jane.bloggs outlook.

It doesn't look as if the password for eg joe.bloggs works

    I am NOT sure but do you not have to enter jane.bloggs@ntlworld.com as a backup email and then you can login with either, but if you change the password when logged in as jane, the joe remains as the original password, thus having two linked accounts.....but I am not 100% sure of that (!).
