Issues changing 3rd party email

My nan has been blocked from her virginmedia email account. Following the steps it says to change her third-party email. She cannot change her password for her third-party mailbox as the third-party email is incorrect. There is no option to edit the email address and she is not receiving a verification email due to the email being incorrect. Please can you help so that we can change her third-party email address to sort out this issue. Thank you.

    We're sorry to hear she can't access her virgin email account.

    Is that email account connected to a current active broadband account with us?

    If so, she may need to generate a new app password to unlock this. 

    The account holder will need to sign in to their My Virgin Media account here and follow the below steps. 
    Go to Account settings, then Account details
    Tap Manage next to Manage your Virgin Media Mail app password under Virgin Media Mail
    Then, under Virgin Media Mail app password tap Get password
    Continue the flow and a new secure password will be generated, and the mailbox unlocked
    Update any third-party apps that may be use to access your Virgin Media Mail emails with this new app password.

      Hi Vikki, thank you for your reply. 
      I have tried to do that but it says to first verify it is you so sends you back to change email address and does not let me alter the email address. Stuck in a loop.

      Is There a way you can allow access for her to change her third party email? It was entered as @apple.com by mistake instead of @icloud.com

    The system really needs a change Email to this and you enter a code sent to that Email that only your browser session will be expecting if code not entered then the Email change does not happen.
