IMAP password

All of a sudden my iphone has lost my imap password so I can't access emails on my phone.

When i try to log into my virgin media account it says email not recognised. 

Can anyone help please?

    Have you setup the new mandatory VMO2ID account for My VM yet?  If not, you will need to do so.  Once signed into My VM, you then need to generate a new "app" password for any email clients you use.

    Sign into the My Virgin media account for the email concerned with your VMO2ID
    Select Account Settings
    Select Identity & Security Settings
    Select Manage your products
    Select Manage email app password
    Click on the blue button 'Get New Password'

    The new password will be in the form  word-word-word-word
