I have been advised that as I no longer have Virgin Media Services I am losing my account.

I have never had Virgin Media Services!  What can I do?

    Set up a new email address as soon as possible and move any emails in your virgin.net email address that you want to keep as well as any contact details.

    Unfortunately without a paid for VM broadband account your orphaned account will be deleted.

    Looking at your posting history it appears that you had a temporary reprieve about 18 months ago.  You should have taken action then.

      Thank you Graham - I do have an alternative e-mail account and am doing what you suggest.  However I do prefer my Virgin e-mail - is it possible to have a paid for Virgin Media subscription to cover just e-mails?

        No, VM no longer even give a mailbox to new customers.  This stopped nearly 3 years ago.  IMHO the VM mail service is being run down and will eventually stop.  New users don't get email, anyone leaving the mailbox is purged after 90 days, so eventually there will no mailboxes left ......
