If you are using an email app or client to access your emails you are likely to need an app password, especially if you changed your password when signing into the VMO2 ID.

To create an email app password or update an existing one you need to follow these steps:

Sign into the My Virgin media account for the email concerned with your VMO2ID
    Select Account Settings
    Select Identity & Security Settings
    Select Manage your products
    Select Manage email app password
Click on the blue button 'Get New Password'

Make a note of the generated password.  This is what you use in the mail apps along with the vm email address as the username.

Hi BROUGH1 👋 Welcome to the community forum! Thanks for posting.

Sorry to hear you are having some difficulties with your email access after returning from abroad.

How are you trying to access the email account? Via our webmail platform? 👉 https://virg.in/webmail via your online account 👉 virg.in/myVM or through a 3rd party clientmail app such as Outlook or Applemail?

If you can please help to this help page 👉 https://www.virginmediao2.co.uk/help/identity to the section titled 'I'm having problems signing into Virgin Media Mail, what should I do?' and then follow the troubleshooting instructions.

Let us know how you get on and we can then offer further support if needed! Thanks for your patience in the meantime.🌞
