How do I delete unwanted NTLworld email addresses?

I have a number of additional NTLworld email addresses attached to my account. How do I delete unwanted ones? FAQ suggests going to

Account settings > Account details > Manage other My Virgin Media accounts

but under account settings there are only five options (see picture below), none of which is what I need, so has Manage other My Virgin Media accounts been removed?

  • Cancelling Virgin Media is a bit drastic, I only wanted to delete a couple of email addresses!

If VM respond, please post the answer here, thanks.

Martin81  I haven't had a response yet from VM however, I have just found this section in the help and support pages:

How to close or delete an email account

You can't delete your Virgin Media email address or any secondary email addresses on your account yourself. However, if you cancel your Virgin Media services, we’ll delete them automatically after 90 days of you leaving us. We recommend that you set up an email account with another email provider, and move any emails and folders you need over to your new email address

To see our guide, go to our cancel your Virgin Media services page.

  • OK, so I have logged into MyVMO2 using the account I want to delete but I can't see how to delete it. Can anyone help please?

Email supremo Graham is on the case and will no doubt update the thread.

The option to manage other my virgin accounts has been removed under the new security settings launched yesterday.

There should be an option to delete the unwanted account once you have logged into it with the new VMO2ID for the email address concerned. However, I cannot find the option so I will ask the question in our private VIP forum.

Will be interested to find out how to do this too. There should be some way to manage secondary email mailboxes (understanding that the amount of management might be limited to "Delete" and little else).
