Email problems

Hello, I have lost the ability to access my virgin media e-mail via Outlook or Apple mail Apps. like a lot of people on here. I've been in several times and generated a new mail password, the password doesn't work.

Spent 2 very frustrating hours on several call to be told that this is an issue with my phone and computer and there is a service I can pay for to fix it. Unbelievable!!

Is there anyone on here that can perhaps help?  I really doubt that Virgin Media's strategy is to generate revenue by charging customers for fixing issue but that's what it looks like.

    Sorry to see you're having issues with accessing your Emails 😞
    Have you checked to see if there are any outhandling updates that may be available?
    What app did our team advise?
    What phone is it you are using?
    Have you tried clearing any cache and cookies?

      Not sure if you saw my reply to jimmyd_uk? Can you help me please? This was the text of my reply:

      I have the same problem. No access to my blueyonder emails via webmail, Outlook or Android phone for 3 days now. I spent a couple of hours yesterday on the phone trying to sort it out and was told "it is a common problem, Virgin now has a solution to fix it, and you can expect to be contacted within a few hours to say that it has been fixed". 

      So far, no contact from Virgin and no emails (even webmail is not working). I get this error message: "Your Virgin Media Mail account is currently unavailable. This is either because your Virgin Media Mail account is locked, or because you don’t have an active account with us anymore."

      I am disappointed and will be leaving as soon as my contract allows it.
