Email access

Access to my Virgin email.

Typical of Virgin to lock me out when an important verification code concerning another site has been sent to my virgin address. It's at times like this when I really hate having had anything to do with Virgin. How can I recommend them to anyone?  Useless!

Not too much info to go on here. How are you trying to access VM email (webmail or via an email app)?

What specific problems are you experiencing? What error messages are you receiving? What have you tried so far to resolve?

More info about the problem(s) may generate some suggestions from forum users to try to resolve.

      Thanks for the reply.
I have the access set up on my Edge browser in WIN11 and its functioned from there for 2 yrs on this machine, and before that from another with win10. I've tried to access my mail via my Virgin account and have just got nowhere. I think of myself as reasonably PC literate abd I have a ton of patience. However I didn't find a way to access it. I get this response which is in poorly constructed English IMHO:- "As you’re using a Virgin Media email adddress, make sure you've got a backup email address ready (from providers* like GmailOutlook or iCloud). You'll need it to finish your registration."

How do I set that up (again) as I can't move from the page to anywhere that makes sense?

I have the exact same problem over two days I have wasted hours on this. Their use of language is inadequate. The convolutions are extreme and baffling. I am extremely frustrated and angry with them. As a company they are the pits and their reputation will eventually bring them down. They have failed on nearly every level of customer relations and their technical back-up is appalling.  The only thing they respond to is money. Threaten to terminate and they perk up. Just awful experience

No command of English language IMHO. That's Bling for you. "Search engine;" "Browser;" not one clue do they have. Cheap inadequate staff and systems will ultimately back-fire.

I strongly suggest you read the threads here regarding email services.  Once done, consider moving your email to another provider that is not tied to an ISP.

Well I have done that already. Unfortunately there are vestiges of Virgin email that remain - like the example where a one time release code is sent to the address and I can no longer access it. By the time I might have it sorted the code has expired.

  • Hey BerryG, thank you for reaching out and we are so sorry to hear about your email issue.

Let us send you a DM to look into this.

What is a "DM" ? Am I dim? I certainly feel dim.
