Deleting ntlworld account

Tried to do what previous posts on this subject has suggested but as no longer a virgin media customer. cannot log into my account to delete my old ntlworld email account. Any helpful suggestions?

    Hello,  

    I too, left Virgin Media a year ago and my NTL account appears to still be active!  Can you please assist in deleting this account?
