Deleting an old ntlworld email account

I need some help to delete and old ntlworld email account. Since moving house nearly 2 years ago, I am no longer a VM customer. Can somebody please help me?

    Hello DAS3.

    Thanks for your first post and welcome to our Community.
    Sorry to hear you still have an active email address after leaving us 2 years ago. 

    This should have been deleted around 90 days after, in rare cases the odd one does slip the net and remain active.
    I'd like to take a look into this for you and get it removed.
    If you don't mind, I will need to send you a private message to gather some details. 
    If you can check your logo at the top right of your screen that would be great.
