Are you able to confirm if you have an active Virgin Media broadband service with us? If so, was this a residential or business account, please?
Our residential email service is only available to existing Virgin Media broadband customers. When our broadband service is removed, the email access is usually removed within 90 days of the disconnection date. Sometimes this can take longer, and so email access can still be available after this time. These emails are known as orphaned accounts and would be removed when located in any system sweeps to clear out emails that are not linked to active broadband accounts. If this has occurred, it can seem that this was done without notice; however, we advise that the email service is removed within 90 days of the disconnection date, so if you retained access to the email after 90 days, this would have been when you were not eligible for the service.
