Could not log into one email address

I have had issues recently not being able to log into one of my email accounts.  These were resolved by password changes.

A couple of days ago the same thing happened again, on the same account, using my email client.  I resolved this by entering my app password for that account.  I was wondering if this was deliberately triggered by VM as some sort of security thingy ?

    I'm sorry to hear about the issues with the emails you are experiencing. 😢
    The email will only lock initially to change the MyVM username to a third party email address and not a VM email address.

    After that the emails should unlock once an app password has been generated - however if they do lock then this would be due to a security issue.
    Please perform a virus scan on all devices where the emails are logged in to.
