Clearing email storage

Virgin Media tells me that I am using 21Gb of the 25Gb I have available.  I have been trying to clear out the storage to make more space.   I have:

  • Deleted about 70% of my archived emails
  • Permanently deleted about 80% of what was in my trash lolder
  • Shut down my computer
  • Booted up again

None of this seems to make any diference - I am still shown 21Gb used out of 25Gb.

What should I be doing to clear out space?

    Does refresh page show correct remaining storage; press Ctrl+Shift+R?

    We're sorry to hear you're having issues with your email storage. As well as the helpful hint from 用心棒, it's also worth ensuring you're going through the emails via webmail directly as opposed to using a mail client or an app.
