Can't access my virgin.net email!

Like many others here, I have lost access to my virgin.net email address which I've been using as my primary email for something like 20 years. Since about a month ago, I'm not able to log into the account and all efforts to reset the password have failed.

I never received any notification that the mailbox would be shut down and many of my important accounts are tied to that email address. I can see there are plenty of other people in the same situation as me recently.

I've tried multiple times to talk to Virgin support over the phone, but it went nowhere.

 

I really need access to those emails. Is there someone from the team here that can help me get access to the mailbox? I know the mailbox still exists currently because I can still send emails to it without getting a bounce.

    carterlisa000 Do you have a current Virgin Media broadband account in the same name as the virgin.net email address?

    If not then the VM staff are unlikely to be able to assist as all orphaned virgin.net emails are being closed down.

      Thanks for replying back.

      I used to have Virgin broadband many years ago associated with the virgin.net email account.

      But I've since switched providers
