Cannot access email accounts

Re previous message I forgot to say I spoke to a Customer Services Advisor, who informed me that I should be able to get into my email accounts by the 29th/30th July, which is a long time to wait.  I accepted this, but then I have seen that other people have managed to get into their accounts.  I have not received any messages etc to say that the system was being changed or updated.  I am not computer minded but I would like somebody to inform inform me, in layman terms, how I can access my email accounts.  When I tried to register with O2, it threw me out for some reason   I have been a longstanding customer of Virgin and am not happy with this treatment.  Can anybody help thank you

    Thanks for the information: it sounds more believable than anything else so far!

    They insist we create a VMO2 IF but like you, we got caught in a "loop" of being kicked out part way.

    Eventually it worked and we can now access out Virgin media and O2 account but NO emails.

    So, maybe try one last time!

    Some people have also been able to access their emails through a "gmail" account by setting up a four word app password but I'm too computer illiterate to do that.An older post explains how to do it.

    If/when we get our email back, I'm going to move my important contacts to "gmail" and if I ever move to somewhere with better alternatives, I am going to dump Virgin. Last time we tried to make a minor change to our services, they really messed us around.
