Hello,

tried multiple times to sign in but every time I get sent an email to verify it’s me a click the link go back to signing in and says email not verified, tried calling customer services but never speak to a person and the bot doesn’t help at all.

all I need to do is basically sign in so I can remove parental lock on tv as at the moment if I record anything that finishes after 9pm and can’t watch it!

    When I get this screen:

I just click on "Exit"straight away and it takes me into my VM account and I am signed in. I don't go back to the signing in page.

I would try that and see if it works.

  • Thanks for the suggestion but still doesn’t work!

When I go to change my password this is the roadblock I get as well so can’t get to the part where I either change my password or verify account via email, so frustrating.

if only virgin media had a way I could actually speak to a person to explain the situation!

The only problem I have had is where the link has expired - usually because the  VM verification email has gone to the spam folder in my Gmail account. That seems to happen every now and again.

One option is to sign in using your Account Recovery Code for that account  if you set that up as part of the VM02ID process. It’s made up of five short words, with a  -  between each word.

One other thought is whether you have the verification email account set up to forward emails to another email account. So when you click on the verification  link in the email it is actually in a different email account to the one the verification email was originally addressed to. (That might be the case if you are using an email account with your private domain name and forwarding your private domain emails to another VM email account for example.)

I'm thinking that might look "scammy" to VM's verification software. At the very least the inherent  delay in forwarding the email from your private domain to the second email account may mean the link has already expired by the time you click on it.
