Just wondered if this is the correct place to raise this problem or should we be reporting this as a fault to Virgin?

I told Virgin directly but they're being glacially slow in responding.

This is the Virgin media community so by posting here you are reporting it to virgin. However, the fault really lies with Gmail and it is the gmail postmaster that needs to address the issue.

I'm not sure that is the case - from what I can understand, this may be related to the Virgin Media blueyonder standard settings which mean that Gmail identifies it as Spam - possibly because Virgin Media no longer maintains the blueyonder servers properly? I have also tried flagging it to Gmail, in any case, but no response there either!

Same problem here. Not only to gmail also some other small domains (outlook, hotmail etc all ok)
Anyone have a fix?

Why are the forum team not picking up on this issue and getting the tech department to sort. Last time it took weeks which is not acceptable.

I forgot to say that the most annoying thing about this is that there is no notification that the email has not been received. Therefore, you assume is has been and that the recipient will answer it or will have got your message/information.
I have only once had a `Mail delivery failure' email so have copied the information below in the hope that this will help the tech support people fix this problem.

Happening to me as well. This is ridiculous, come on VM sort it. To be honest I regret renewing my contract with VM and almost certainly will not when it comes up for renewal as the service at times is awful.

This started happening to me as well a couple few weeks ago and is still happening.
It seems to be mainly with gmail accounts. I sent an email to a gmail account I have and it went to spam. I then marked the email as `not spam' but further emails went to spam.
As Greg says this appears to be the same problem that happened back in March.
This needs to resolved ASAP.

Yep same happening for me again - so annoying as lots of recipients now use gmail and not receiving my blueyonder emails as they sit in their spam folder. It took weeks to sort out earlier this year - please VM/Gmail take this seriously and sort it out speedily and for good.

I am having the same issue. All emails from my blueyonder accounts are being treated as spam by gmail users.
Similarly, I had the same problem a few months ago - I thought it had improved since then but has suddenly got worse again.
From everything I can see, this is an issue with Virgin Media and how emails are sent from the blueyonder accounts. Please can Virgin Media treat this seriously and resolve it with Gmail.

Same issue with me as well.
Also experienced the same problem earlier this year.
Please can Virgin Media resolve this issue with Gmail as soon as possible. There must be other blueyonder account holders affected who perhaps are not yet aware that their emails to gmail accounts are going into spam.
