Backup email address

I used to use my blueyonder address to log in but had to change it. The only other email I used regularly was my business one so I used that to log on. All was well, but my business is shortly to be no more, so I won't have access to that address. I tried to change my login to the only other one I have access to, a gmail address. But it wouldn't let me use that one as it is already my backup email. My question is: how can I change the backup address to, e.g. my wife's email, so that I can use the one I have access to as my login?

    Apo Sign into the relevant My VM account > Manage VM settings > Internet and Security settings> Security settings> Backup email > then edit the email address to the one you want to use.
