Adding blueyonder email address in new Outlook for windows 11

Have set up blueyonder account, however when trying to add account to Outlook, get the following message:

"This username may be incorrect. Make sure you typed it correctly. Otherwise, contact your admin".  As I have had that email address for ages (since telewest), I know that I am typing it correctly!

Any ideas please?

    First question is, are you currently a VM broadband customer (which is now a VM requirement for using VM email)?

    If you are, have you set up an app password in 'My Virgin Media' to use within Outlook?

    When you set up Outlook, you need to use your BY email address along with your app password.
