Virgin install date 7th April, when to cancel Sky??

I have signed up to Virgin BB and I am currently with Sky. The install date (if not delayed) is the 7th April. When would be the best time to contact Sky to cancel? I am in contract but have their email ref price rises and it says I can leave penalty free. I am thinking to have some form of overlap in case Virgin delay the install?

    Personally I would not cancel Sky until VM is installed and you have tested over your 14 day cooling off period.  There are many threads here about delayed VM installs, some dragging on for months.  VM use their own infrastructure, so it will not impact the Sky cables.
