Using two broadband connections

I now have two connections, a new one with FTP at 1G/1G. I’m load sharing between them that works well, but I have set up a specific route for my V6 so it only uses the VM connection.

Should it really matter? What I you have V6 but not VM internet?

V6 needs VM internet for certain functions.

I'm thinking thats what they are asking or else why ask?

You could give the V6 it own subnet and route to VM WAN or set V6 for a given IP by DHCP if you can't set one by static then route source IP to VM WAN

"I'm thinking thats what they are asking or else why ask?" Not asking, just stating what I have done, so anyone with 2 connections in the future will know this needs to be done.

Policy based routing in my UDM Pro router:

So, amongst the things you had to do was fix the IP address of the V6 in the router. And are your two WAN IP addresses stable enough on the WAN interfaces so you don't need to set up dynamic DNS for them.
