New Forum..theme and design comments

• No Dark mode
• No editing of posts
• Signing in all the time because tokens have too short life. P.I.T.A.
• No 2FA introduced
• Cant insert URLs properly
• Cant see how many likes for top users, or top number os solutions fixed that day (i.e. daily stats on homepage)
• Cant seem to get quotes working to show what I am replying to.

was updated five hours ago, except the date stamps on the posts show nothing earlier than two weeks ago. 

Unless, the somewhat ‘interesting' tags attached to the opening post count as an ‘update’ to the thread. Which raises another point, can a user add tags to someone else’s post? Let’s check!

Yes it seems I can, I can add any tag no matter how offensive to anyone else’s post!

About 10 month's ago any notification emails from the community started to go to the Virgin spam folder, but since the "update" I have now had 3 going to my inbox so I know I have had an email, the rest have still gone to the spam folder. 🤔

not posting anywhere else but in this thread at the moment and maybe that will be become long term

lets be honest - this update sucks - the last one under this forum management was rubbish but enough was left of the original post features to make it usable with effort - this incarnation - assuming nothing is changed/put back - is unusable for anyone that is not staff or VIP - the lack of editing alone negates bothering to try and construct any useful reply - add all the other 'features' that have been lost and is a disaster for anything more than - can you send a tech or my omnibox is open

so to 'the management' well done - you have achieved your goal or pretty much it seems - the place is for staff and 'controlled' vip's to cut and paste phone numbers that lead to little help - to pm's that close a thread down and are zero help in the future etc etc - about the only difference to offshore is that posts will tend to be helpful without lie after lie

I did wonder what had happened to the 'Security Matters' and ‘Switched on Families’ sections as they appeared to be MiA.

But they have now reappeared under ‘More’ on the menu bar - odd, as I suspect most people will never stumble across them.

Who is receiving (or is not receiving) email notifications from the forum? I have received no email notifications at all since the switchover.

Editing facility might be back, just posted a reply and thought maybe I should have added something and clicked on the .... at the top right and there was an edit option, edited the post and got an update option, OK,

Didn't seem to update but knowing how slow everything is at the moment I waited a few minutes, selected the edit function again and the edited version was there so did the click on update again and nothing changed, tried a 3rd time and then it appeared. How slow is this new system.

Not a fan of the new layout.  Being an old codger with rubbish eyes I prefer something with a larger font and a bit of contrast.  I end up zooming the text.
