How do I get this eyesore swapped for a new one?

I have 2 boxes for the cable and telephone fixed on the wall. The box for broadband and TV was changed recently so is a lovely brilliant white, but the telephone box is a dirty looking beige brown colour as it must be nearly 20 years old. I've recently decorated and it's an eyesore. How can I get this changed as last time I had engineers here they told me it wasn't possible for me to swap it?  

Please can someone advise?

    VM are actively moving users to telephony from the Hub and those old sockets are becoming redundant.  I suppose you could ask if your landline could be moved to the Hub?  Or if's it's such an eyesore paint it, or just replace the socket yourself.?
