Contract

Getting close to my renewal and received an email from virgin offering a renewal £21 more than existing contract. Called to speak to retention team but customer service said they could deal with it, there offer was £33 pounds more, can anyone tell me please how to contact retention as cant seem to be connected to them, my contract doesn't run out till 17th jan 2025 so i have a bit of time to sort it out. Thank you.

Try this - dial 150 or 0345 454 1111 and follow the prompts to - 'thinking of leaving us'   Not sure if it still works however?   Also phone as close to 08:00 as possible.

Look up competition and use accordingly during negotiation. If there isn't any then either live on slower broadband for 3 months to come back as new customer again, or switch to someone else's name in the same address as a new customer upon disconnection of your current service.

Although if your existing contract is at £x and you're happy with it, simply continue.

The ending of time-limited discounts is often confused with "my contract is getting more expensive".
