A bit different to what I can see others problems are with emails

2 weeks ago yesterday when I went to log into webmail I had the message that I had to change the way that I log into MVM and I needed to use the 3rd party email address that I was using to access my webmail to do it.  I already was using another 3rd party email address to  log in to MVM.  

Anyway I did it and the moment  it worked I lost access to my webmail.  I kept getting the message that by email account was locked.  After numerous chats and having the issue passed to IT I tried again today as I'd heard nothing, and the agent seemed to know what they were on about and was trying to help.

Apparently to unlock my account I needed to let VM recreate another password for my email account that 3rd party apps could use.  So we went through everything, but when it got to changing the password everything just hung.  Tried several times and I was told to try again later.  So I just have.

I've logged in and gone onto the accounts associated with my account.  Then I've clicked on the password for email app and its taken me to another screen with my email address at the top.  However it isn't my main email address!  Its a virgin media email address that VM made me create years ago to log into my MVM account!  I've never used it for anything else.

So where has my email account gone?  How do I access it now?  The 3rd party email that I use to log onto my email account is now attached to what I suppose is a secondary account.  And how do I access the other email accounts ?

Away at a wedding for the rest of the week so who knows when this will get sorted.

Oh and I'm also an O2 customer for my mobile.  Went to log in today and it told me I have to add it to my MVM account, which I've done.  But I've checked back through all the emails I've had from O2 and there was nothing to say it was going to happen.

This is a total disgrace!
