Wifi problem

Wifi working fine, then suddenly disconnects and states Internet unavailable  ran a diagnostic test which is fine until it gets to WiFi, then shows errors. Then, will reconnect only to stop again, sometimes within minutes, other times longer. Have tried rebooting but the problem persists. This happens not only in different room but also in the room where router is situated?  Any ideas please or is the router itself faulty?
