Wifi Pod request

Hi could someone please contact me to order and additional WiFi pod. I have on already but have another dead spot in my house.

have done the speed test but cannot see how to order.

ive tried the virgin media connect app which says it can’t connect to my router!

    Thanks for posting and welcome back to the community. Sorry to hear of this. From our checks, you won't need another Pod as it stands. This is because you've split the WiFi bands, so any existing Pod won't work, plus the app therefore won't work either. You need to leave channel optimisation on and also ensure only one VM signal is being broadcast. 

    The system shows this;
    2.4 - This could be causing slow speeds  because it's an overlapping channel.
    5 - This could be causing connectivity issues due to device compatibility & channel restrictions.

    There are a few requirements for the Pods to work with our Hubs:

    •    The Hub must be in 'Router Mode' and not have been changed to 'Modem Mode'.
    •    Channel Optimisation must be left on.
    •    The SSIDs must be the same and broadcast enabled.
    •    The SSID must be password protected.
    •    The Passphrases of the SSIDs must match.

    As long as all of the above points are all met then the Pod should automatically connect to your Hub's Wi-Fi and begin broadcasting. The wireless details from the Pod will be the same as the Hub's details, so no additional steps are required to connect the devices in the home. Also ensure the Pod is not in the same room as the Router, needs to be in a kind of middle point to ensure better connection throughout.

    Do the above, then run the scans again and then let us know how you get on :)
