Wifi connection down

Been with Virgin for a few years with no real problem until yesterday. Wifi was down (hub flashing red) but according to the app no network issue.

Tried several times to restart and even used the reset option but no joy. Tried to webchat twice but each time, while talking to someone, I was suddenly kicked out and back to start. Tried to call and couldn't get through. 

Eventually I get a text message (after a few hours) that there is a problem with the network and they are working on it. 

It isn't until you need to contact a company with a problem that you realise how bad they are, and to top it off - wifi down again this morning, hub flashing red and app telling me no network issues.

  • Hello, have you looked on check my services? Or on the my virgin media app? They can tell you if it's a network fault and when it will be fixed

    Always try first the “free & automated” Service Status number - 0800 561 0061 - which usually gives the most up to date info. and tells you of more local issues and fix estimates, down to street cab/ postcode level.
