Wi-Fi signal repeatedly dropping

A few weeks back I opened the VM connect app on my phone and it told me it had to do some updates to my router and/or settings – I didn’t pay much attention to it as assumed it was just a  routine update.

However, since then I’ve had a lot of issues connecting to the Wi-Fi throughout my house. For example, my phone wont always pick up the Wi-Fi when I’d move upstairs. My laptop which is in a separate room downstairs rarely connects first time to the Wi-Fi when I reboot it.  This is happening with other devices, such as firesticks, tablets etc. throughout the house, so I know it’s not device specific.  I never had this problem before so I pretty sure it’s not related to signal strength.

@ModTeam Is there any particular setting I need to change, does it seem like my router has a fault.

This can be due to a number of factors, environmental factors in the home or an increase of devices that may be causing congestion with the Hub.
