Virgin Media Fibre Up Web shows Gig2, chat and package shows 1?? What's going on here
Hi all, just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
I was checking availability at my address, and Virgin Media’s own website clearly shows Gig2 (up to 2Gbps) is available (see screenshot attached).
However, when I spoke to the live chat sales team, they insisted the maximum available at my address is Gig1.
Bit confused — is the website wrong, or is Sales just not offering Gig2 for some reason? I’d prefer to go for the faster tier if it’s genuinely available.
Would appreciate any clarification from Virgin Media staff or anyone who’s actually managed to order Gig2 recently.
