Virgin hub3 issies

Ok, so had  joined virgin and all was working fine then had an issue connection drop and what not posted it here as well..

Virgin replaced the hub but now there are different issues.. Samknows shows good speed on router but not on the device..

I got deco e4 connected at the router via ether net and the wifi created by it  is working flawless but it is limited to 100mbps and I am on virgin 250...

Issues while connected to hub WiFi. These does not happen with deco wifi network

1. No Internet if I go in a different room from the router room.

2. Go to first floor and same issue of network dropping.

Any solution pls..

1. Is there any setting to be done on the hub router setting pls.

2. What is the best way to resolve it.. I can reposition but not useful as currently both deco and hub are side by side.

Thanks in advance

The  deco e4 are 100Mb limited

I suggest you look for a better router with 1Gb ports and put hub in modem mode

ok to make it clear ,

i know the limitation of Deco E4 ..

the issue i am trying to solve it is how should i improve hub3 to be sure that i DONT HAVE to USE DECO e4 ..

Apologies for the confusion on the post.. I just tested Deco to see if the issue is with hub 3 or at the virgin end.

        Hi Kingkk

Welcome back to the Community Forums.

Sorry to hear of your WiFi concerns. I've been able to locate you on the systems on our side and can't see any issues with our hub or any area concerns that might be affecting your services at this time.

Many different factors can affect WiFi overall performance, so ensure that the router is in an open and well-ventilated area, away from any other devices that might also broadcast or produce signals/frequencies to help from any interruptions. If you've any devices near the router that can reach to be connected via ethernet cable, such as a smart TV or gaming console, we recommend plugging these devices directly into the router to save up more WiFi availability for other devices.

You can take a look at further WiFi support tips and checks here should you need.

We aren't able to provide any third-party device support, so we won't be able to assist you with your Deco E4. Please let us know if you are having any further issues or have any questions at all. We'll be here to help on the Community Forums if needed.

The fabricated gripe against the Hub 3 that performed perfectly on a Realspeed Hub test
reflects a frustrating behaviour of failing to deal with home grown issues & faults first.

You will see less than 100 Mb/s because your Deco E4 only has 10/100 network ports,
so the best that is possible always going to be a little less than 100 Mb/s.   ( E.g. 93 Mb/s via Ethernet ).

The Hub 3 has 10/100/1000 Mb/s network ports, it is not the speed limiting factor.
