Virgin HUB 4, pfSense and TP-Link Deco X60.

Hi,

I've been using Virgin HUB 4 and TP-Link Deco X60 without any issue for a couple of month. Now I want to add pfSense between Virgin HUB and TP-Link Deco X60. Please help me to achieve this.

Thank you.

Are you using the VM Hub in modem mode with the X60 doing the routing?

      Hi John,

Yes, I'm using the VM Hub in modem mode with the X60 doing the routing.

if you have configure the pfSense right you just need to power off hub for two mins to allow the MAC change your pfSense WAN has

Why do you want to use pfSense as most don't need it.

You could use pfSense to replace the Deco or, if you want to keep the Deco, connect pfSense to Deco by their LAN ports and configure pfSense in bridge mode.

Some people like to build a real firewall router that a home router can't do.
