Unstable Connection

I have exactly the same issue as described above. VM have sent out engineers. The problem disappeared and now come back again. I just cannot face going through the challenge of reaching customer service and going through the same basic tests ie switch off router, factory reset etc etc. Have you managed to resolve this?

  • Hi Veggie_Guy

    Welcome to the community forums

Sorry to hear you're having issues with your service at this time.

We've checked the systems at our side and cannot see any issues within the area or with your services at this time.

Are you able to give details of your own personal experience and what's happening at your side so we can support further here.

Did the engineer advise anything to you when they were there last?

      Hi Carley

thanks for the message. Simply the internet is completely unstable. I get this on both WiFi and wired connections and across multiple laptops and phones. Teams and zoom calls are very unstable and the video breaks up constantly. If I use Speedtest to check speed it tells on startup that the internet connection is unstable. My iPhone (which is brand new) will not perform a back up to iCloud as it says the network connection is unstable (or words to that effect). If I monitor network speeds then sometimes my laptop will measure +800mpbs then next time it will be down to 90. Speeds are all over the place.
It “feels”, but I am no expert, that the signal levels are not constant or there is some noise on the line. As I said, this happens across all devices and WiFi and wired. Hence it is either a service issue into the house or the router, but the router was replaced a month ago.
      Thanks

      Brian

Thanks for coming back to us Veggie_Guy, I have looked into this again as Carley did and cannot see any issues in your area or with your connection at the moment.

Would you be able to turn off your WiFi pods and check to see if you have the same issues without them? We can then rule out the pods as the cause of the issues.

Is your connection unstable at particular times of the day or is it at random times of the day?

        Kind Regards,

        Steven_L
