All the stated reasons / claimed benefits for disabling SSID broadcast are utter poppycock.
If you are so paranoid / deluded on this topic just use a 3rd Party router and be done with the matter.

Pretty irelevant to be honest. If someone wants to hide their SSID, they should be able to without justifying themselves...
