Terrible WiFi speed

Hi guys,

Been with Virgin Media with Gigabit internet for 3 months now, and on the second floor I’m getting very slow speeds. Almost to the point that I’m wondering why I changed from my last provider. I’m guessing I need a WiFi pod to be able to hardwire to my devices up here! As I live in quite a big house, it’s a real problem.

Can anyone help me?
Thanks.

Chris

Reuse the home network equipment that was in place and functioned perfectly with the previous ISP.

Thats the point though, I am using the old mesh system but its just not talking well with the VM router.

VM likes making customers jump through hoops when it comes to wifi.

You can get for the pods or get your own router and AP out hub in modem mode

Have you just re-connected to the Deco to the VM Hub & hoped for the best ?

Or have you considered if the VM Hub will be in Router / Modem mode and re-installed the Deco as you did when it was new, using the matching choice of Access Point / Router mode ?
