Stuck on “Update in progress”

My hub 3 has been stuck on “update in progress” since around 11:15pm last night (30/12/2024). It’s still stuck like that and I can’t figure out anyway to fix it. Iahve tried all the usual things like pressing the reset button, turning the broadband off, etc. But nothing seems to work. I have also recieved a new broadband (hub 4 I believe) as a free upgrade but I’m worried whether I should set it up right now or wait until my hub 3 starts to work again.

    Your Hub 3 may well have been de-activated on the expectation that by now the Hub 4 would be installed.

    Connect the Hub 4 and give it a try.

      I will try that but it says on the box for the hub 4 that I have 5 days to activate it and I received it yesterday. Anyways I’m going to try and speak to customer service and see if they can help.

        Recent posts suggest that VM disregards the five day window thing and instead disconnects the old hub at the end of the day of the date of delivery of the new one.
