Stream Box losing Signal via WiFi

I have 2 stream boxes from Virgin one in the living room and one In the master bedroom. 
the one in the living room work amazing no issues at all, but the one in the bedroom constantly buffers or loses connection to WiFi, it doesn’t really work but WiFi speeds are amazing on mobile but then when you check on the stream box it is stating the speeds are too slow? 
I have GiG 1 internet and it states I should be able to order a WiFi Pod via the app to help with signal but I can’t seem to order one, any help will be muchly appreciated.

    Sorry to hear of your service concerns with your WiFi and stream box. 

    Is the steam box out in the open, well ventilated, and away from any other devices that might interfere with WiFi, such as Bluetooth and other radio waves? 

    When you run a WiFi test in the master bedroom, what is the results you get? You can run a speed test on our Connect App here, or over on Sam Knows here

      so I’ve tried to move it and it’s still struggling with signal, it’s working abit better but still loading etc, the signal to my phone via WiFi is amazing though and never fails, very good speeds etc. 

      What would you advise the signal and speed test on the box fluctuates from slow to high.

      but when I do the test above it’s obviously using my phone and the signal and speed is amazing!

        Move the bedroom one to the living room and do another test. If it's okay there then it's the feable wifi from the hub. Stick the hub in modem mode and use your own better router.

    It sounds like your bedroom stream box struggles with WiFi range despite strong overall speeds. Try repositioning your hub or request a WiFi Pod directly from Virgin support, sometimes the app doesn't show the option.

    Or just buy your own Wifi extender and save any hassle.  Alternatively, use an ethernet cable to the Stream box for the best results.
