I have wifi pod being delivered in the next few days, I've just been looking on the WiFi connect app and saw a setting about merging WiFi networks. Should I actually do this?
I have two different network names one for the 2.4ghz and one for 5ghz
The Pods will not work unless the Hub is left as “out of the box” settings. If you need separate SSID’s look elsewhere for your WiFi solution.

We would recommend merging the WiFi bands yes, if this isn't done the pods won't connect.

Turn off the VM Pod and replace it with a decent brand of retail Wi-Fi repeater that supports configuration of split SSID and even different SSIDs for the repeated signal.

You might what to do this from now as usually folks have split the SSID to get things like IoTs / CCTV / printers to work.
Mind you yodel still haven't delivered it yet, last tracking update was 7.31 am this morning and still saying it's at their depot. Not looking good
