Re: External work not completed

Has anyone actually had this resolved, I’m on 3rd installation date. Constant lies on webchat about the work having being completed, they’ve known it’s been needed since 5 September. I’ve made about 3 complaints but no further information. Customer service department at virginmedia is non existent.

    Thanks for your post and welcome to the community. We're really sorry to hear of the install delay. Normally, most installs do take place on the dates agreed. However, on occasion, extra work is unfortunately found to be needed and we'll get this done asap to limit any inconvenience caused. 

    We can see from a system check, you did speak to the team on Monday and they went through everything with you, including why the date can't be rescheduled.

      I have spoken to the team repeatedly. “Need external work which hasn’t been done” seems to be a go to answer though especially when there’s been no attempt to instigate the external work despite issuing 3 installation dates.
