Previous tenant has not cancelled their broadband contract

Any advice on what to do when a previous tenant has not cancelled their contract and cannot be contacted (probably left the country)?  Support said they would attempt to call them but I have not heard back for a week!  Seems I am stuck without broadband until this is resolved.
