Powerline Problems
Just moved over to Virgin having previously had Broadband with BT and more recently Sky. I only swapped because of the lack of any fibre options so was stuck on copper wires, 12/14 mbps!
So, apart from slow speeds everything worked fine. Virgin media now installed and my wireless printer picks up a good wifi signal upstairs but the PC sat above it doesn’t see the network?
Also, my daughters Smart TV which is connected via powerline wired adaptors no longer picks up any internet connection so she can’t watch Netflix.
i have been on with tech support a couple of times to no avail, they just said the speed to mu iphone in those locations was good so it wasn’t their issue. Seems to me there is a compatibility issue here. Any ideas greatly appreciated?
You can try giving them a full reset (The IP range differs to other ISPs, so could be the issue), however, if the powerline adapters are only 10/100 (100Mbps) ethernet the HUB 5 is known to have compatibility issues with legacy devices.
