Outage in Raynes Park
Just been told that an engineer is on their way but there's an outage in SW20 area and now won't be fixed til the 6th May! Anyone else received this info? Why can't it be fixed for days on end?

Keep an eye on it, as it is likely to change.
If all services have gone down the most likely cause is a blown cabinet amplifier. New amplifiers have to be pre-calibrated to the correct segment parameters & soak tested before being installed on the network, which can take 24 hours.
Thanks. Was just broadband but it seems to be back up although might still be intermittent. Will advise.
Could be temperature related.
You'll never know the full reason for the issue as VM don't supply this info.
