Old version of wifi pod received

I had an issue with my wifi pod (white). Virgin told me they would send me a new one (the back updated version) as my pod is over 3 years old. I have just received my replacement and they have sent me the same old version.  Trying to get through on the phone to speak to an agent is near impossible. Anyone else received an old version pod recently?

    Thanks for posting in regards to the recent replacement Pod received, we understand the confusion. Welcome to the community.

    When a replacement is ordered, a like for like replacement is sent. Although there may be a 'newer' version of the pod available the previous ones are still fully operational and should work still with your current equipment. Apologies you were advised a new one would be sent, we will feed this back to the team to help improve the service and experience received.

    Is there an issue with the new pod? If so, can you elaborate on the issues and what steps you have taken to resolve this?
