No WiFi in one room

Hi, I have a smart speaker but I am not getting any WiFi in the kitchen area of my house where I want it. My phone also drops WiFi in the same room. I'm on M250 volt

I get good WiFi almost everywhere else in the house. Is there anything I can do to help with this? I've read about virginmedia WiFi pods would I be able to get one to help solve this.

Depending on your contract, Pods are either free or £8 pm.  If they are free then great, otherwise I would suggest you invest in your own WiFi solution rather then rent Pods.  Something like the TP-Link AC 1750 should do.

The pods are indeed included free as part of Volt.

Oops, missed that fact the OP has Volt … D’oh!

  • I can confirm that I am on a Volt contract.

I've just done a connection test in the area that's a problem and I'm getting no WiFi signal at all. This is a real issue as I've purchased a new Sonos speaker to use in the kitchen and it's not connecting or only connected for a short while.
