Ahh, the old "1Gb Wifi" strikes again. Good comments from the last 3 posters ...

The 100Mbps is the rate at which your kit is drawing data over Wi-Fi. If you wish to see faster, get rid of the Wi-Fi & use a network cable from the PC direct to the Hub.
Check the Service Speed:

VM don't accept any speed test you do by your device...so I hear.
The hub is not that good plus your device might not be that good so your only option is to get a better router with 1Gb ports or 2.5Gb and put hub in modem mode like this cheap one.
and a cable

Thanks for the reply, my pc is the main priority for this wifi and i have got a 5ghz TP-Link booster plugged and with ethernet cable connected to my pc. I'm still waiting for the welcome email so I can activate the gig1 wifi but even after talking to support for 30 minutes still no email. I also checked and my pc's wifi card supports my wifi so theres no problems there. Just seems to be a problem with VM which they are saying "we will fix" but currently made no attempt.

Just to be clear, you do not have 1gig WiFi. You have 1gig broadband up to the VM hub. The WiFi, as the name suggests, is the wireless part on your side of the Hub, and as far as VM is concerned anything over 30Mbps is acceptable.
The first step is to check what broadband speed you are getting to the Hub. Have you tested that? The approved app for testing speed is https://www.samknows.com/realspeed/
