No internet for 2 weeks

Had no internet for 2 weeks now, engineers turned up last week and fixed split fibre down the road but then said my router was on the wrong pond. Another engineer turned up next day and said the same and it would need to be swapped by the back office team. I get another engineer sent out today who tells me exactly the same. No one seem to be swapping anything

This is no just a VM issue, as many ISP's who use FTTP have PON issues.  However, that does not help you.  My understanding is it's a case of which PON port you need to be connected to and the problem is there are hundreds of ports in the fibre chassis some cases. However, yes, it needs to be sorted.

  • Engineers have all the details, they know what it needs to be swapped to, its just getting someone to do it. All i get through Customer service is we will send an engineer out again

Again my understanding is the PON issue will not be resolved by an engineer at your property.  It needs to be sorted at the other end where the fibre is plugged into the network equipment.?
