No internet connection - Update in progress

Router appears to be working and can be connected too, solid white light showing. Tried all the switch on/off and checked all connections possible, internal and external. 

Accessed the router using 192.168.0.1 says there is update in progress. Looks to be stuck on this as been like this for over an hour and a quick google shows this to be fairly common issue.

 

Ive got an engineer booked for tomorrow evening however from what I’ve read they won’t be able to solve the issue? Any ideas how to bypass this and achieve a faster fix?

    A factory reset may clear this.  Press the rear RESET button for 60 seconds,  after that leave the Hub powered on and give it time to preform a complete reset.  

    If this does not work, a replacement Hub may well be required, engineers carry VM Hubs on the van.
